A law graduate with a Master's in Maritime Law and a member of the New York Bar (voluntarily inactive), John chose to follow his true passion — food. Raised in a farming family in Laconia, Greece, he spent much of his childhood in the olive groves and orange orchards, learning firsthand the art of cultivation and harvest. After years in the U.S. restaurant industry, John founded Lacon Terra to bring the authentic, premium olive oil and olives he grew up with to the American market., filling a gap for premium Greek products that match the quality he remembers from home.
A law graduate who recently relocated to the U.S., Sophia brings a strong foundation in business ethics and client relations, shaped by years of experience in the international shipping industry. Having worked with a diverse global clientele, she excels in building meaningful, lasting partnerships. She bridges the gap between the product and the customer, sharing the story and quality behind every harvest. With exceptional communication skills and a passion for Greek gastronomy, she leads Lacon Terra’s sales efforts — connecting premium quality with those who value authenticity.
